What are Custom Qualifiers?
Custom Qualifiers are questions or notes that Eland encodes within unique 2D bar codes on a scan sheet. As your representatives converse with visitors, they can discreetly use the scan sheet to make note of key information or action steps (e.g. designate a hot prospect, flag a prospect for telephone follow-up, assign a salesperson to the account, and so much more). The ability to capture this information quickly and effortlessly allows you to spend more focused time with your prospects and follow-up on their requests with greater speed and accuracy.
A standard record might look like this:
- John Smith
- MY Company
- City, State, Zip
- Tel
- Fax
But a record with custom qualifiers could look like this example:
- John Smith
- MY Company
- City, State, Zip
- Tel
- Fax
Qualifiers:
- Interested in Product x
- Interested in Product y
- Buying in 3 months
- Budgeted Item
- Have Sales rep call
Do I need power at my booth?
You will need power to your booth only if you rent the desk top device. No power is needed for the hand held lead retrieval device.
Where do I pick up my lead retrieval device?
Pick up the device at the Lead Retrieval Desk, which is typically located in the exhibit hall next to the Exhibitor Services Desk.
Do I need to return my lead retrieval device after the show each day?
The device is your responsibility during the course of the show, so you may choose to leave the device in your booth or take it with you at the end of each day. At the close of the show, you must return the device to the Lead Retrieval Desk.
How do I get the data from the machine?
All records are automatically written to the memory stick which is included with the Desktop model. At the end of the show, simply remove the memory stick (it is yours to keep). We will download the data from the Handheld machines for you when the machine is returned to the lead retrieval desk. The data will either be emailed to you, or you will be presented with a USB memory stick.
What is the data format?
The data from the desk top is presented in an ASCII file. The data from the hand held device is presented as an Excel sheet.
What happens if I lose the data?
Eland retains a copy of downloads for a period of one month from the show date. Simply contact us, and we will email you a copy of your file for a $50 fee.
What happens if I do not return the device at the end of a show?
Eland will charge you $2,500.00 dollars for a lost or unreturned device.
I have paid to have my device delivered. Does this fee include device pickup at the end of the show?
No, all exhibitors must return their devices back to the Lead Retrieval Desk after the show. Handheld machines need to be downloaded so you receive the file, and Desktop machines are downloaded to capture a back-up copy of the file.
